Met a uni friend for lunch today... I was supposed to buy her birthday lunch in August but work and travel kept me busy for the past few months. Finally we managed to fix a day for lunch :)

While catching up, she told me her son has recently done a child review and the doctor has confirmed that he's an autistic child. I asked if she's sad? She replied saying, 'As long as he's healthy, I'm happy.' Autism treatment and therapy programs do not come cheap. She mentioned that fees could easily come up to 5k a month...
