신용카드 사기!

My first fraud credit card experience! I was logging in to check my AMEX statement and I realized that there was a charge of $20 from Hard Rock Cafe on January 21. I don't usually bring the card out so I was quite surprised I got charged.

Initially I thought perhaps Hard Rock has charged an additional $20 because I have not fully paid my transaction in December? I was there for dinner last month when I went to Universal Studios. Calling AMEX to check... they told me it's a fraud case!

My company has recently undergone a global re-branding exercise and it's really a busy period for Marketing. Today is the new culture launch celebration, where the new vision, mission, tagline as well as the company values are announced to everyone in the company. I'm glad the launch went well, although I thought my big boss' speech was a bit too long...


The new tagline was printed on the electric blue balloons and I had the privilege of blowing them up with the helium gas in the office! FUN!!!!!

어머니 생일 축하합니다!

It's mummy's birthday today! I wanted to give her a surprise so I ordered a hand flower bouquet from Noel and had it delivered to my house.


The roses are soooo lovely! My mummy loves them... It's always a nice feeling to receive flowers isn't it?


My niece simply adores the flowers so much that she kept asking me to take pictures of her with the bouquet!

샌즈 스카이 파크!

This week is a busy week! I have to bring my boss around after work, not forgetting there's a Chinmas party (I'm the official photographer for this company event), my usual tuition classes, my mother's birthday....

We are dismissed at 4pm today as the management allows us to change before heading to the Chinmas party. Taking advantage of the early dismissal, I brought my boss to Sands SkyPark.

차이나타운!

My boss is in town this week. It had been 2 years since she's here. Last year, we both met and caught up in Hong Kong instead.

With the nearing of Chinese Lunar New Year, I brought her to experience the festive mood at Chinatown. Very much to my surprise, Chinatown was crowded for a Tuesday!

A happy ending! I'm glad it all ended well although it would be even better if the couple had the blessings of the mother...

I guess the scriptwriter is quite clever to end it without the blessings of the mother. In a way, it helps deepen the love relationship of the couple...

Treated my buddy to a wonderful buffet lunch at Royal Scotts by the Plaza earlier today... Her birthday is approaching and since she would be away next weekend, we decided to celebrate earlier :)

After a heavy lunch, we shopped around in Ion Orchard... brought back beautiful memories, just like how we used to go out when we were younger. I miss those days!


Come to think of it... this is the very first picture taken ever since her wedding in October 2009!

I'm not sure if it's the will of God to start the new year afresh?
My iPhone hung on me today and I lost over 200 contacts in my mobile. I tried restoring it but it was unsuccessful although I have been syncing it frequently. Contacts of friends, colleagues, students, parents and his smses and evidence.... all gone!
Well I guess it's time to do spring cleaning of contacts in my mobile...

Time flies and it's back to work tomorrow...
I have been resting since 17 December; went back office to work a day end December and continued to enjoy my vacation until now. I'm grateful for these 2.5 weeks of resting.

May the new year brings new strength!

流れ星

I have just finished watching 流れ星 Nagareboshi, a Japanese drama which was highly recommended by my Korean classmate. I couldn't remember when was the last time I had watched a Japanese drama, but since it's only 10 episodes, I decided to give it a try and was hooked on it!

流れ星 is a love story starring 2 main characters from broken families with difficult situations and with a twist of fate, they enter a marriage with a purpose. These 2 lead characters both share a liking of jellyfishes! Btw, the lead actor acted in this really popular drama many years back called the Beach Boys... Does it ring a bell? At 39, Takenouchi Yutaka still looks good!

I would love to visit the Enoshima Aquarium someday... heard the jellyfishes there are really beautiful!

KHJ won the Male Popularity award at the 2010 MBC Drama Awards on 30 December. Well done!

On red carpet... Apparently KHJ was seen removing the price tag on his new pair of shoes. Either he's duh or his stylist is... lol
