올해가 윤년

It's the leap year today.
Additionally it's also office move day!
Looking back, I have been seated at the management floor for almost a year...

Coming Monday, I will be back on 14th floor. My company has acquired another unit ~yes we are expanding! and I will be seated in the new office area. My new seat has a splendid view of the sea, highway and IR construction. BUT it's a loner seat as other colleagues are seated way at the other corner.

I will certainly miss the fun times when I can turn around and chat with my neighbours. May the empty seats near my desk be filled up soon!

Once I have settled into my new area, I will share some pictures with you!


Goodbye my 9th floor seat! I will miss the convenience of getting water within seconds!

P.S: This picture was taken last September... I'm donning a new hairstyle now ^^

살이 찌고 싶다!

I was losing my appetite due to gastric flu the past week. It was horrible! At the smell of food, I felt like vomitting although I was very hungry. I used to finish my food very quickly but now I can barely finish it.

Though now I have regained my appetite, I still can't finish my food as quickly as before. Also, I lost weight! I'm only 46 now... How can I gain 4 more kilos?

동료 집으로 찾아온다

Today a couple of us gathered at an ex-colleague's new place to celebrate Chinese New Year! Apparently, this ex colleague just shifted 1 month ago and has kindly invited us over to make a mess of her cosy house!

Thanks to one ex-colleague, I managed to watch Jay's latest concert in Taiwan 2007 ^^

"出招" 过新年!

Read something funny on Lixie's blog. Thought it's an interesting read for the Lunar New Year period so here you go! Do master these brilliant techniques... I'm sure they work!

新年过招
去拜年，一定会遇到几个状况：

１。看到多年不见的朋友，不要一开口就说他／她肥。

你可以说：你厚了咧！
厚，是个比较含蓄诗意的字眼，不会太伤人。
同样，有人说你肥，你可以回答，我越来越“厚”道。

２。长辈问你，还没有“怕脱”？

你可以说，我不怕脱，只是怕被人拖。
如果长辈有读幼稚园的儿子女儿，
你可以打哈哈说：那个最好的还没有出现，我等你的孩子长大嘛！
如果长辈的孩子是未成年的少女，这招不能乱用，免得被对方用年糕砸破头。

３。带男友或女友去拜年，长辈又问，还没“借分”？

你可以说，我在等赌场建好。
长辈奇怪，为什么？
你可以说，因为要筹够钱，借个轰轰烈烈的好分。
顺便问他到时要不要一起去帮忙筹钱。

４。已经“借分”的，长辈可能会再问，几时生“北鼻”？

你可以说，还在吃补品，要七七四十九天才见效。
如果长辈有孩子，不管那个臭小孩多令人讨厌，
你可以说：你的小孩真可爱，要生一个这样的，真不容易。
对方肯定开始夸奖自己小孩，你也可以转移话题，让她讲个够。
或者，你可以说，你翻过黄历，等龙年生龙子，最吉利。

５。长辈辛苦煮了饭，夹菜给你，问你好不好吃。

不要伤别人的心，就算不习惯，也领他们的好意。
不要开口就说不好吃，你可以说，这块肉，真难忘。
难忘，也很诗意的字眼。多了点想像。

중국의 신년가 왔습니다!

중국 사람들에게는 설날이 1년중 가장 큰 축제입니다!
모두들 가족이나 친척집에 가서 함께 맛있는 음식을 먹으며 도박을 합니다.
이번 설 연휴는 4일이나 되서 더 즐거울 것 같네요!

'우리 생애 최고의 순간' 영화를 기대한다!

'우리 생애 최고의 순간' is based on a true inspirational story of the Korean women's handball team, which were up against Denmark won the silver medal in 2004 Athens Olympics. Since its release on 10 January, it has drawn 2.64 million viewers!



A sports movie on the surface, it is actually a human drama dealing with the life of people on the fringe of society. Though Korea lost in the 2004 Athens Olympics, it indeed reminded Koreans of the glorious silver win, a medal which shone more brightly than the gold.

또 결혼식에 갔습니다!

I attended a seconday school friend's solemnisation/wedding today.
Heard that this newly weds have only known each other for half a year and ta-da! they are getting married!

어제밤에 10시쯤 온라인 어휘 시험을 밨습니다.
10시 30분까지 선생님에게 메일로 파일을 보냈야 했습니다.

시험 공부를 하지 않아서 좀 어려웠습니다...
난 나쁜 학생입니다!
