다 끝났다!

Finally! My O level tuitions end today. At this moment, I'm having mixed feelings. I know I need a break badly since I have been tuitioning non-stop this whole month but yet, I know I will sorely miss having to teach...

I'm so contradicting aren't I?

畢竟, 放手會比較好過
等待一個不回來的人是最累人的
我常常在想 為何會遇到他? 最近才有了答案 ^^
所以 現在變得更努力、日子過得更充實 !

Da:ns Festival 2008: Russian Ballet Gala

I haven't been to ballet concert for quite a long time. It's never easy to find someone who appreciates dance and is willing to pay for a performance. I'm blessed to have found an accompanying friend ~ thanks Li Ching!

Prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Ballet, Marianna Ryzhkina and Permier, Dmitry Belogolovtsev have impressed me with their flexibility, elegance and passion for dance. Their sky-lifting poses were just so awesome!

Next year, I will not wait till the very last minute to purchase my ticket. Lesson learnt! At least I'm very sure by sitting at the stall/foyer seats there will be no children asking silly questions, kicking your chair, over-dressed angmohs giggling as if they are drunk and mothers whispering to their daughters after each dance selection.

거짓말쟁이

I have always been teaching secondary level mathematics, not because the money is better than primary level but because, I have always thought secondary level students who are growing young adults are easier to manage. These 11 years, I'm blessed with wonderful students; some with slow learning abilities and some just pure lazy but I have never dealt with students who lie... until today.

A new secondary 3 girl postponed my class pretty last mintue to an hour later last Saturday. Reason: I have CCA... I knew it's lie! Who has CCA during examination period?! Little did I know that she has told her mother that I had something on so I delayed the lesson. I only knew this today when I spoke to the mother...

Yesterday 8pm I was supposed to teach her too but once again she cancelled my lesson... Her cancellation sms was still in my phone. Hi I don't think I can make it for tuition tonight. Got dental appointment.

Well... does this sound convincing?

블루 먼데이

Today is a blue Monday... I had to re-do a database list all over again just because an additional field was required and the Director who wanted the list did not mention she needed the contact numbers as well.

Obviously she did not know the massive work needed in cleaning the list. She kept insisting that I should send her the list directly and keep her in the loop if I send a copy to the US team as well. She was worried that there's duplication of work.

I had this urge to reply... re-doing the list is duplicated work!!!!!
BUT
I endured....
