I haven't chatted with my niece for a while as I usually have classes on weekday evenings and during weekends, I'm not home for dinner.

I feel bad because it was her birthday yesterday and I have not even shopped for her pressie! So I asked her what she wanted and her reply was so sweet... 'It's supposed to be a surprise yee yee.'

Before she left, we took a selfie because it's been eons since we last had one.

Saw this lovely friendship band while I was teaching my student just now. Can't believe friendship bands are now back in fashion!

I remember making many of them during the good old school days. Brings back lovely memories.

To beat Monday blues, I came up with rainbow dress code! And my new and fun-loving colleagues are so sporting. Everyone picked a colour of the rainbow and ta-da....we do resemble the rainbow very well right? If only the back wall was sky blue...

Heard so much about Strangers Reunion and the waffles they sell. Finally here with ex colleagues to try them!

I like their brunch more... The waffles were over rated. Quite dry and disappointing. Nonetheless the place was cosy for 3 of us to spend 4 hours catching up and gossiping!

These 2 months we are doing really well, occasional small quibbles and all's good next day.

체리시...

My godfather is not doing too well. Doctor told my buddy Melissa and family to prepare for the worst. 

I dropped by the hospital for a visit just now and had a shock to see him so frail. He was unable to speak and not eating although Melissa said he made huge improvements today by telling them he wanted to drink chin chow.

I guess in all our minds we feel it's best that God brings him home as we really can't bear to see him suffering. 

We really need to cherish our loved ones because death is always uncertain.

무릎을 다쳤어!

My poor knee... I don't how it was injured but it hurts so badly this morning that I have to go see a physician after my morning classes. Dearie was so puzzled that I did not know I have injured myself without doing anything...

 The physician said I had a bad muscle pull and it could be due to my sitting or walking etc. I guess I could have strained it while packing 8 boxes of materials for the coming conference on Monday. 

 I don't know how I'm going to setup my booth tomorrow but I will try...

First pay in my new company is in!
It was really good to see an increase in pay ^____^
I guess that will be my only motivating factor in this new company.

Generally the company morale is pretty low. This can't be blamed as the new GM which happens to be my boss is a loud and only talk person. It's sad especially when my ex boss is such a good boss and leader.

Anyhow I will try to put up for a year.
For the sake of my bank account.
