The Leap Years

I had missed this movie when it was out in the cinemas so when I knew that Okto was going to screen this show, I was very much looking forward to it.

A promise to meet every 4 years... How can one keep to that promise? Perhaps only with much faith and patience.

Robert Feart's 'In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learnt about life: It goes on.' drove the message strongly across.

Sometimes I feel the sad memories and pain are too much for me to bear. I may have loved and lost... but I believe eventually I will become a stronger and better person.

I taught a new student today... My yet again 13th student :)
I had 13 students in May but lost one of them which was a blessing in disguise as she lives in Whampoa, a far distance from the east.
I wasn't upset when I lost her... she was a difficult student and I had to repeat myself everytime I teach because she just can't be bothered to remember. It was a relief!

God really works wonders in my life...
Recent times have been financially tight and difficult for me but the Lord takes care of me in His own faithful ways and I'm really thankful.
This new assignment, I believe, is God-sent too.

"No trial greater than human endurance has overcome you.
God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond your strength.
He will give you, together with the temptation, the strength to escape and to resist."

집에 돌아와서 좋다!

Working in Shanghai for the past week was an eye-opener! It's a totally different culture and very much hierarchical. I'm glad that I'm working in Singapore!
