My boss' last day in Singapore before she flys back to Swindon. The 1-to-1 session we had before she left was disappointing. We have worked 5.5 years together and yet she believed a backstabber?!

There was a lot of deadlines and backlog because of boss' visit but I didn't see a point to put in extra time to finish things off. There's no need to work too hard...

My afternoon classes were cancelled today and hence, I had time to bring my boss around. We went to Marina Barrage as she suggested. Lucky for us, it wasn't a warm sunny day; the sky was covered with clouds but very breezy at the Marina Barrage.

A pity the place was crowded as CDAC had a family day event that day. Nonetheless it's a good visit! An additional place visited to make me more Singaporean :)

신화 The Return 콘서트!

Just attended Shinhwa The Return concert at RWS. Members of Shinhwa have become so man and attractive, a vast difference from several years since their last concert in Singapore. The legend group was active way before Korean pop grew popular, they have definitely come a long way!

I always believe the Lord works wonders for me. Today I only have 1 class; others have cancelled their classes because of travel plans. So technically today is the day to enjoy! Wonderful isn't it? Everything just fell into place...

My ex colleague and her husband treated me to some authentic cantonese style food at Imperial Treasure and we managed to catch MIB3 together. After movie, we just sat at a cafe for coffee and chatted. What a nice feeling... I have forgotten how it felt to enjoy my Sunday in town.

Looking forward to end October when I can really enjoy my weekend. I shall endure 4 more months!

I had a very fruitful day today! 7 hours of classes on my birthday ~ it's a first! Many have asked why didn't I give myself a break to enjoy my special day? Since there are no dates today, I may as well teach!

Many blessings received from the Lord today because I got paid for every class I taught, birthday greetings from overseas friends, and my beloved niece made me a nice tulip! Only pity is no birthday cake....
